My husband and me would like to introduce you this beautiful place and its neighbourhoud. My husband is a forest-officer who loves his job and the nature.Jägertscharda (Vadászcsárda) can be found in southern Hungary in Baranya country at the eastern submontane of Mecsek hill. This small vilage (about ten houses) is surrounded by forest. Although forest-officers have lived formerly in these houses, we live in the village Mecseknádasd because of our children. During their stay our guest can have excurisons, walkings in the forset following the Blue Line Tour, watching wild animals and beautiful plants. About a few kilometers they can horseride, play tennis and even angle. On hot sunny days the pool (3x5m) can give refreshment. We have a small playground for our younger guests and a table-tennis set is also available.

Our apartments:

    Two separated house are standing on a spacious area. The bigger house has one double bedroom (13m2) and another one with four beds (25m2) together with a kitchen, a bathroom and a separated toilet. The smaller house has two double bedrooms with a kitchen and a bathroom including the toilet. The photos show the bigger house's rooms and kitchen. The smaller house is a bit more simple, however you can find all the facilities what can fully serve your needs.

Both houses are well equipped:

  • all the equipment for cooking (including microwave) can be found in the kitchens
  • color TVs with satelite recievers (40 channels) for each house
  • washing-machine for the bigger house

The courtyard and the orchard:

  • the garden has 140m2
  • at three different location tables with seats are available
  • fine grills can be cooked on the broiler
  • the orchard has 1000m2, where the fruits are at your hands for free

Other information:

  • central heating and cockle gives the heat for the houses
  • there is shingly road through the forest to the houses
  • here are restaurants, shops in close distance (Mecseknádasd 5km, Pécsvárad 10km)
  • in the houses books and maps on the neighbourhood's walking paths, cities, show-places can be found
  • About 30km drive is the 4th biggest city in Hungary, Pécs, having many historical memorabilities, from which the most famous are worthly become part of the Wolrd Inheritage in 2001: the Dome and the ancient Christian catacombs. Pecs have been the European capitol of culture in the year of 2010.

Shifts:

  • Peakseason: 7 days (7 nights). From Saturday 14pm to next Saturday 10am.
  • In offseason: minimum 4 nights. In case of spending less nights we will charge you extra.

    The prices are including gas, electricity, firewood, water consumption including the usage of the swimming-pool.
